Replacing / Using Non OEM Gear Head Shaft on Weedeater

The gear head shaft is an important part on your weed eater that transfers power from the engine to the blades. If the gear head shaft is damaged, the weed eater will not work properly.

There are two ways to replace the gear head shaft on your weed eater:

  1. use the original gear head shaft.
  2. use a non-original gear head shaft.

Using an original gear head shaft is the best option because it is designed specifically for your weed whacker. However, original gear head shafts can be expensive and may take a few days to deliver.

If you don’t want to wait for the original gear head shaft, or you don’t want to spend a lot of money, then you can use a non-original gear head shaft. Non-original gear head shafts are usually cheaper than original gear head shafts and can be delivered faster.

However, there are some risks associated with using a non-original gear head shaft. First, a non-original gear head shaft may not fit your weed whacker. If the gear head shaft doesn’t fit, it may not work properly or may damage your weed eater.

Second, a non-original gear head shaft may not have been tested and certified. This means that it may not be safe or may not meet the specifications of your weed eater.

If you decide to use a non-original gear head shaft, make sure you do your research and choose a good quality gear head shaft. You should also make sure that the gear head shaft fits your weed eater.

If you are unsure how to replace the gear head shaft on your weed eater, consult your dealer or a service professional.

Here are some steps to replace the gear head shaft on your weed eater:

  1. Turn off the weed eater and unplug the power cord.
