How-to: Bar and Chain Fit-Up

1. Bar Length

• Determine quide bar length bymeasuring from the front of thechainsaw to the tip of the quide bar.

2. Chain Gauge

• Chain gauge is the thickness of each drive link. Find your gauge bymeasuring the section of the drive linkinside the groove of the quide bar.

3. Chain Pitch

• Pitch is measured by the distancebetween 3 consecutive rivets , dividedby 2.

4. Drive Links

• Count each drive link to know the totalnumber of drive links on your saw chain
